Your account with betab.com will be held in US Dollars, should you wish to deposit in any of our other supported currencies the system will do the necessary conversion and deposit the equivalent amount in US Dollars into your account. The same calculation will be made for any subsequent withdrawals.
When you make a wager, should you choose, for instance, to bet on thoroughbred racing in South Africa, having accepted your chosen bet, the system will automatically convert the amount into South African Rand and place your bet into the required pool at the track.
When you win, the system will take the declared dividend, convert the amount back into US Dollars and deposit the winnings into your account.
Exchange rates are updated daily and are as calculated on www.xe.com
The system presently allows you to bet into the pools in US Dollars, UK Pounds, Euros' and South African Rand all from the one account held in US Dollars.
Our current content includes horse racing from the UK, South Africa and Ireland, plus Thoroughbred, Harness, Greyhound and Jai Alai in the United States and Canada.
